We had a gorgeous day at Kew Gardens with a lot of free play in sunshine. We also tried a new game the listening game. I got the idea from Debi in goexplorenature.blogspot.com. We sat down around a tree, counted to twenty and tried to be quiet for 1 minute, and listen very hard for different noises.
That was not easy for little girls; they were more interested in playing.
Interesting the two boys did better; they actually managed to be quiet and told us they heard birds and car noises.
We finished with hot chocolate and sandwiches.
