I have to admit I did not grow up with lemonade stands.Lucky for me Lenore with Free Range Kids told me in a vlog how not to make a lemonade stand ( a very funny piece). When my daughter and her friend asked me to help them with making their lemonade for their stand I helped them find a recipe, they did most of the mixing and made the stand and sign themselves.
Since I already had strawberries from our strawberry picking, we decided to make strawberry lemonade.
You need:
1 cup sugar
1 cup of water
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh lemon juice
4 cups cold water
Wash strawberries, cut off and discard the stems. Put the strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar, lemon juice and water. Use and emergent blender (your kids will need an adult to help them with this). Add some ice cubes and voila the lemonade is ready for the lemonade stand.
