My friend Debra and I had a party 3 years ago in a park in Toronto. Debra used to live in British Columbia and she remembered the wonderful lantern festival there. We invited a few friends with kids for a summer party. It was a gorgeous night and we had so much fun making these magical lanterns together. They are easy to make from clean glass jars with different kind of stickers, sand, leaves, steel wire and glue. Let your imagination run wild this midsummer and make some outdoor lanterns with your friends and create some homemade lighting for your deck this summer.
